The Museum of History was established in 1910. It showcases the contributions of the citizens of Fort Smith to the political, cultural, and economic development of the place. One of the highlights of the place is a soda fountain that is as old-fashioned as it can get, serving a variety of Yarnell’s Ice Cream. Trolley Museum
This is a unique museum where you get to learn the historical facts about automobiles, trolleys, and trains in non-other than a refurbished trolley. Miss Laura’s Visitor Center
Miss Laura’s is the only former brothel that has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Named Miss Laura’s Social Club, this visitor center has been restored to its former glory. Entrance to the visitor center is free.
