After my father died, I was looking to relocate my mother from west Texas closer to me. After visiting Morada Meadow Lakes and interviewing the staff, I found exactly what I was looking for. A facility that still offered her independence but had a backup support plan to assist her when needed. The staff is pleasant, professional and has the resident’s best interest in mind. They are quick to contact me when situations arise that they feel need my attention.

When it was obvious that our mother needed to downsize and sell her home, we asked her where she wanted to live. Her answer was, “Morada Meadow Lakes.” Mother had spent many years visiting residents of Morada Meadow Lakes and taking them tapes/CDs of church services and often baking her famous banana nut and cranberry apple bread for them. My point is, she had experience with Morada Meadow Lakes along with a number of retirement and assisted living communities. She chose Morada Meadow Lakes. The staff is friendly, loving and helpful. They all look out for each other and it feels safe — not only for her but for her family that loves her.

I can’t find the words to say how much I appreciate the management, staff and employees at Meadow Lakes. My Mother’s life has been so improved since she sold her home and moved to Meadow Lakes 3 years ago. She enjoys many provided activities and is truly cared about. The staff have gone out of their way on several occasions, and I feel they care about me also when I come to visit!

Our mother, Marjorie Eller (AKA Mean Mama Marge), has been a happy and very comfortable resident since the summer of 2015. All of the staff treat Mom like a member of their own families.
